Our mission is to recruit, verify, and develop foster and adoptive families to provide safety, promote healing, and encourage permanency for abused and neglected children.

The placement of a child in a Families Especial home is viewed as the beginning of a new set of experiences. It is an opportunity for the child to begin the healing process in an atmosphere of kindness, openness, and mutual respect.

Our commitment is to the development and delivery of the highest quality therapeutic foster care. We believe that each child can expect to experience a special set of nurturing family relationships which promote healing and happiness as a natural outcome of having his/her needs met and the best possible future plans made and moved toward.

We strive to provide the children in our care with opportunities that will assist in creating positive childhood memories, confidence, and self-sufficiency in adulthood by realizing and living up to their full potential.
